120 mm mines hit Ukrainian positions near Prychepylivka

On November 2, Russian mercenaries landed four attacks on positions of Ukrainian defenders in Donbas combat area. One fighter deceased in the shooting, reports the HQ of Joint Forces Operation.

The name of the serviceman who list his life is Serhiy Yelyseev. He served with the 128th Mountain Infantry Brigade of Ukraine's Armed Forces. He left his wife and son behind.

"Since the beginning of the day, militants breached the ceasefire four times, two of which involved the Minsk-banned weapons", reads the message.

In the areas of Pavlopil and Novozvanivka, the enemy opened fire from small arms. In the vicinities of Prychepylivka, the illegal armed units used 120 mm mortars to shell Ukrainian emplacements.

Over the last weeked, OSCE SMM observed 1,459 breaches of ceasefire in Donbas. This is mentioned in the daily report published by the Mission.

988 cases of ceasefire violation were observed in Donetsk region; that included 138 explosions. In Luhansk region, 471 cases occurred, including 62 explosions.

Earlier, Politico released new satellite images that confirmed recent information about Russia building up military forces and vehicles on the border with Ukraine. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov claimed these images "misleading".
