The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC)'s situation room is guarded and works as scheduled. Oleksandr Turchynov, the ex-Secretary of the Council said that, commenting on the recently uploaded video. In it, his successor Oleksandr Danylyuk showed that data servers disappeared from the place that he claimed to be the situation room - never explaining where he actually shot this video.
'I'd like to stress that Danylyuk's video does not concern the National Security and Defense Council. It was shot in separate rooms of the Presidential Administration in Ukraine, at Bankova street', reads the message.
Turchynov added that people could get confused.
'The Chief Situation Centre of the NSDC, located at Bolbochan street and the facility in the offices of NSDC workers are duly guarded and are now working as scheduled. When Oleksandr Danylyuk gets to his office in that building, he will be able to see it himself', Turchynov said.
As we reported, Oleksandr Danylyuk, the newly appointed Secretary of the Council uploaded a video message on Facebook, saying that all servers that contained classified data about decisions of the National Security and Defense Council have disappeared from the situation room.
The official said that he could not find any monitors and servers in the situation room.
'No monitors, no servers. I don't think it looks like a civilized transfer of power', Danylyuk said.
