The corresponding decree No.771/2019 was signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky on October 25.

In June 2019, the former Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksandr Danyliuk announced a new Cyber Security Strategy.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Oleksiy Danilov as Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), having previously dismissed him from the office of NSDC Deputy Secretary.
On September 27, Oleksandr Danyluyk wrote a letter of resignation after only a couple of months in office.
