The detectives of the National Center of Fight against Organized Crime accused a 25-year-old Czech citizen, who, according to their information, fought at the side of the pro-Russian militants in Donbas as Denik.N reported.
A man was over than twenty years old when he came to Donbas.
“The law enforcers initiated the prosecution of one person for the terrorist crime due to the conflict in eastern Ukraine,” the message said.
“It is a person from Karlovy Vary, who possibly participated in the fights against organized Ukrainian Army. We will not reveal any more detailed information, particularly, how he went to the east of Ukraine,” Prosecutor Martin Bely said.
The investigation is at the initial stage and the detectives have enough evidence of the man’s guilt. A man faces from 12 to 20 years in jail.
The Czech law enforcers investigate the involvement of about 20 citizens in the participation in the military actions at the east of Ukraine at the side of the pro-Russian militants.
Earlier, Brest Court of Belarus delivered a verdict to a 44-year-old citizen of Belarus in accusation of the participation in the armed conflict in Donbas on the side of the terrorist formation Donetsk People’s Republic.
