Collective Security Trearty Organization

Member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization passed the declaration on collective security and a number of other documents that have to do with support and deployment of collective forces. This is mentioned on the website of the CSTO. The messabe appeared after the session of the Council of Collective Security in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) on September 16. The event was led by Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon.

Presidents of all member countries took part in the event: Armenia's Mikol Pashynian, Belarus's Aleksandr Lukashenko, Kazakhstan's Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev, Kyrgyzstan's Sadyr Zhaparov, Russia's Vladimir Putin and Tajik's Emomali Rakhmon. Stanislav Zas', General Secretary of the CSTO was present, too.

The politicians signed an agreement about creation of joint competent law enforcement organs, namely the military police, military investigation team, military prosecutor's office and military courts.

Besides, the heads of member states agreed to supply their forces with modern weaponry, vehicles and riot control weapons.
