Mustafa Dzhemilev, the leader of the Crimean Tatar people, stated that the Crimean Tatars will be in the constructive opposition to Volodymyr Zelensky, who, preliminary, wins at the presidential elections in Ukraine as Krym.Realii reported.
“We, the team of Petro Poroshenko and Crimean Tatars, actively support him. It is almost obvious that we will be in the opposition, constructive opposition. Everything that a new president can do for the benefit of the state ad issues, which we consider right, we will completely support him. But if something will contradict our ideas, Ukrainian state, our people, we will protest,” Dzhemilev said.
Dzhemilev added that to keep the stability is the most important for Ukraine now.
The second round of the elections of the President of Ukraine kicked off in Ukraine on April 21, at 8 a.m. preliminary, Volodymyr Zelensky has won with over 70% of votes and current President Poroshenko gets about 25%.
Earlier Zelensky’s team has stated that Crimea belongs to Ukraine, it is unacceptable to sacrifice the peninsula for peace in Donbas answering the question of Mustafa Dzhemilev.
However, Dzhemiled said that it is not Zelensky’s answer, it’s his team.
