Rozdilnensky district court in the occupied Crimea refused to send Ukraine’s political prisoner Volodymyr Balukh to a hospital for medical examination. Radio Liberty reported that, quoting his lawyer Olha Dinze.
‘They did not provide any diagnosis – or even examination, for that matter. According to him, last time he visited the local hospital they actually refused to provide him with medical assistance. We reckon we’ll have to send him to another hospital,’ she said.
The Ukrainian activist said he suffers from sinusitis and pain in his back and groin.
The next session in Balukh’s case is appointed for December 14.
