The Ministry of Health will divide Ukraine into four zones - "red", "orange", "yellow" and "green". This was announced during a government meeting by the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov.
The criteria for dividing Ukraine into zones are: bed occupancy rate (not more than 50%), number of tests conducted (not less than 24 tests per 100 thousand population), coronavirus detection rate (not more than 11%), and infection growth rate indicator (over 10%).
The "green" zone will include those regions where the indicators conform to normal. It should be noted that mandatory quarantine restrictions will also be extended there as well.
"The 'green' zone does not mean the complete lifting of lockdown, All these criteria are developed on the basis of our experience, as well as the experience of our Western partners, so that it is as comfortable as possible, so that everyone knows where he is and what could happen next," said Maksym Stepanov, Ukraine's Health Minister.
As we reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to extend the adaptive quarantine until August 31.
