London was supposed to host the talks on March 18-20.
"Given the latest COVID-19 developments, EU and UK negotiators have today jointly decided not to hold next week's round of negotiations in London", sources in Brussels told the press.
Currently, the sides consider alternative options of holding the talks; one of these is a video conference.
As we reported, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry persistently urges citizens to refrain from traveling abroad. The press office of the authority reported that on Thursday, March 12.
"This, first of all, concerns the People's Republic of China, Republic of Korea, Japan, as well as (...) tourist destinations that are popular among Ukrainians - specifically, the Italian Republic, Kingdom of Spain, the French Republic, the Republic of Greece, the Federal Republic of Germany, Egypt, the UAE, the Republic of Turkey, the Kingdom of Thailand, Israeli state and others", reads the message.
Those who are now staying abroad - in the countries where the cases of Covid-19 are registered, are required to show maximum awareness and cautiousness. The Ministry calls on the citizens to abide by the requirements of the local authorities, avoid visiting the dangerous areas and report on their whereabouts to the closest diplomatic institution of Ukraine.
