The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has chosen a measure of restraint for the former MP Semen Semenchenko. The court sent Semenchenko to a pre-trial detention center for 2 months without the right to post bail. Semenchenko announced this after a court hearing on his Facebook. page.
"I'm going to jail. I deny all the accusations and dirt that was prepared especially for this day. Let those who will be after us be smarter and do not believe in their own state. I ask you to help my family. Glory to Ukraine," Semenchenko wrote.
As we reported earlier, the SBU reported that former MP Semen Semenchenko and "freelance National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) agent" Yevgen Shevchenko have created a private military company (PMC) on the territory of Ukraine. The coordinators, besides them, were 13 more citizens of Ukraine.
The report states that the training of members of the private military company took place at a specially equipped training base in Kyiv region - there was combat training, training in handling weapons, military combat skills.
