Ihor Umansky, the Counselor of the Head of the President's Office has resigned. He posted that on Facebook.

"Weekend quarantine! Ok then, off we go! I'll go first. I filed the respective appeal on Bankova street (the address of the President's Office, - 112 International)", reads the message.

The official did not specify the reason for such decision.

Ihor Umansky has served in the branch of executive power of Ukraine since 1997. He twice worked as First Deputy Finance Minister (2008-2010; 2014-2015), Acting Finance Minister (2009-2010) and Finance Minister (March 2020).

During the past 24 hours, 931 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram. 11 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 925 Kyiv citizens. The number of newly infected includes 497 women (18-88 years old), 367 men (18-85), 34 girls (1-17), and 33 boys (1-17). 36 medics are among those who got infected over the last 24 hours. 83 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.
