The National Council of Ukraine on Broadcasting intends to impose sanctions on Russian media in Crimea. This was reported by the member of the National Council Serhiy  Kostinsky, reports Krym. Realii.

"We gathered all the information about Russian radio stations and channels in Crimea, we gathered information about their leaders, owners, and all the officials who distributed the frequencies between these radio stations. These are five hundred pages of a large document, the final version of which we are planning to present soon.
All these people will get what they deserve. First of all, we have to work on sanctions - they stole the radio frequency resource, so frequencies are distributed illegally. We have a powerful communication with the Prosecutor's Office of Crimea, the SBU, the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Information Policy, this is our joint project, and I believe that in September we will be able to fully present it, "he said.

Earlier Kostinsky said that since October, broadcasting to Crimea by 75% will be Ukrainian-speaking.

The day before it was reported that the National Council of Ukraine on Broadcasting issues issued new permits for temporary broadcasting under a simplified procedure on temporarily uncontrolled territories in the Donetsk region and in Crimea.
