The price for the armed aggression against other states should constantly increase for Russia. Andry Paruby, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine claimed this at the 50th session of the General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PA BSEC) broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
‘The philosophy of our activity lies in the furthering of the development of the economic cooperation, development of our state and wealth of our citizens. And when country-member of PABSEC holds the aggressive policy, sends the occupation troops at the territories of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine then it disrupts the basis and philosophy of our activity of our organization. And we should jointly respond to such actions of the country-aggressor’, Paruby.
He reminded that the leading states of the world imposed the sanctions against Russia and constantly extend them and thanked the international community for the all-round support.
‘We think that the sanctions against Ukraine should continue and be extended until the complete restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine in accordance with the norms of the international law. The issue is not only about occupied Donbas but also about Ukrainian Crimea. The price of the rude violation of the international law and military aggression against other states should constantly increase for Russia’, Paruby emphasized.
He expressed the convictions that the countries-members of the PABSEC should be responsible and consolidated.
‘Only together we can force those who disregard the charter principles of the organization to respect the key points of the peaceful co-existence and good-neighborly relations’, Paruby concluded.
The 50th session of the General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) takes place in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on November 28-30 under the chairmanship of Lyudmyla Denisova, the Head of Permanent Delegation in PABSEC.
