Coordination meeting with Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov to take place in Odesa on October 11. Yuriy Lutsenko, Prosecutor General, announced it in the lobbies after the session of the Regulatory Committee on Monday broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
‘We want to announce that coordination council, which was rescheduled from today’s Monday to Thursday, will take place in Odesa this Thursday with Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, me, and the heads of the fiscal authorities. We will discuss the situation in Odesa, including the local government leaders,’ Lutsenko.
Earlier, he stated on the cancel of the coordination meeting of the law enforcement officials in Odesa because of the sessions of the Regulatory Committee on Monday. The meeting should be devoted to the analysis of information regarding the attacks on public activists.
As we reported earlier, Kateryna Handziuk, Adviser of Kherson's Mayor was attacked near her place. The attacker soaked her with acid. The woman was hospitalized.
30 percent of her body was burned: head, arms, legs, chest and left eye.
The attack on the employee of the City Council of Kherson was reclassified from "Hooliganism" to "Serious physical injuries committed with the aim of intimidation," and after a while - on "Attempted murder with a special cruelty."
Yuriy Lutsenko took the case under his own control. He reported that the attack on the adviser was a part of the plan to destabilize the situation in the south of Ukraine. Later the investigation was transferred to the central office of the Ukraine's Security Forces.
