Judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine who voted against the high-profile decision on the anti-corruption legal framework are not going to work for some time - because the draft decisions of the court were published in the media. Interfax-Ukraine reported that with a reference to the source.
During the Thursday, plenary session of the court, these judges claimed they considered publishing draft decisions of the court in the media unacceptable.
"This is why the judges believe it is impossible to consider separate questions of constitutional proceedings, and for the time being, they will not be participating in the Constitutional Court's sessions until the situation around it gets back to normal - in a legitimate way", the source said.
Earlier, we wrote that the Constitutional Court of Ukraine stated that any decision is made concerning the possible recognition of the land reform as unconstitutional. It is planned to consider the case later as the court reported.
“The Constitutional Court of Ukraine consider the constitutional procedure on the submission of 48 MPs of Ukraine toward the conformity with the Constitution of Ukraine of the law on the amendment of some legislative acts of Ukraine concerning the conditions of agriculture land turnover and particular paragraphs of the Land Code of Ukraine,” the message said.
It is reported that the cases were combined in one constitutional procedure; it had to be considered on September 29 but it was postponed due to the appeal of the representative of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine who stated that he did not participate in the session personally.
