Clashes between protesters and law enforcement officers take place near President's Office

Participants of commemorative events on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom came to the building of the President's Office on Bankova street in the center of Kyiv, where there were small clashes with law enforcement officers. It is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the news portal, as of 18:40 on Sunday about 1 000 people gathered on the Bankova street at the gate leading to the square near the President's Office. Law enforcers let in only those people who agreed to a superficial examination of things. Thus, only a few dozen people entered the President's Office.

Other participants refuse to provide things for inspection and urge law enforcement officers to let everyone in without inspection. In this regard, occasionally there minor clashes between law enforcement officers and protesters took place.

November 21 is the Day of Dignity and Freedom. It was established in accordance with the presidential decree of November 13, 2014 in honor of the start of the Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity in 2013 on that day.

On the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, memorial events are held in all settlements of Ukraine.
