According to 112 Ukraine TV channel’s correspondent, participants in the demonstration in Kyiv’s Park of Eternal Glory picked a fight. Supporters of the-then Communist regime held red Soviet flags that were banned by the Ukrainian Parliament back in 2014; their opponents carried black and red flags, which are commonly associated with Ukrainian Insurgent Army, the nationalist organization that fought both the Nazis and the Communists during the Second World War.
