24-year-old Ukrainian citizen Pavlo Rabeshko, who has a residence permit in Belarus, was detained in the country. This was reported by the human rights center Viasna.

"It is also reported that a 24-year-old citizen of Ukraine Pavlo Rabeshko, who has a residence permit in Belarus, was detained in Stolin at about 17:00," the message says.

It is indicated that a search was also carried out at the man's place of residence, in which, reportedly, five police officers took part.

The phone was confiscated, and Pavlo himself, according to preliminary data, was taken to the Pinsk KGB.

The human rights center did not specify what exactly was the reason for the search.

As reported, on July 2, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko instructed border guards to completely close the border with Ukraine. According to him, a huge amount of weapons is being supplied to Belarus from Ukraine.

At the same time, the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleh Nikolenko said that the Ukrainian side had not received official notifications about the closure of the border from Belarus after the statement of Alexander Lukashenko.
