Chinese newspaper called the deal of Microsoft and TikTok to be stealing as Interfax reported.
China plans to assume retaliatory measures to the attempt to force the Chinese company in the U.S. ByteDance to sale TikTok app owned by it to Microsoft.
“Intimidation of the Chinese technology sector by the United States is the result of Washington’s motto America above all and leaves no choice for China but subordination or a deadly fight in the technology sector,” the message said.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the work of the TikTok app in the U.S. would be stopped if it is not sold to the American company until September 15.
“We have established the date – approximately September 15, (TikTok app, - 112.international) when it stops work in the U.S. But if Microsoft or somebody else buys it, it would be interested,” Trump said.
Microsoft considered the purchase of the TikTok app. The leaders who present the app hold the talks with the White House to prevent the administration of President Trump to ban this app completely.
However, Microsoft Company has not decided yet to buy TikTok. Even with the approval of the White House for the purchase, the decision might be changed. They believe that the sale should meet strict requirements, according to which, the Chinese would have nothing to do with the new company.
The U.S. suspects that China might use the app for intelligence. TikTok denies ties with the Chinese government.
