"The official Iranian news agency IRNA reported that one Iranian and two Chinese warships, a logistical vessel and a Chinese helicopter that arrived in the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas last week participated in the exercises," the report said.
These are the first such exercises since 2014. About 700 Iranian military seamen took part in military drills.
