Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has been diagnosed with the coronavirus. He announced this on his Facebook page.
"At the end of the working day I received too ‘positive’ news: I have a positive test for coronavirus, but I feel fine," the official wrote.
He will continue working in self-isolation.
Yermak also added that he had a video meeting of advisers to the leaders of the Normandy format that was scheduled for that week. According to him, he will not be the reason for the meeting’s potential delay.
As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has been infected with Covid-19.
"Unfortunately, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has a positive test for coronavirus infection Covid-19. The head of state is feeling well and will continue performing his duties remotely in self-isolation," the statement said.
Last week, Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko officially confirmed that he had fully recovered from coronavirus infection.
