The Department of Investigations into crimes against Ukraine’s national security unified all cases regarding such crimes into one. Anatoliy Matios, Ukraine’s Chief Military Prosecutor said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday. The briefing was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“Currently, we’ve got more than 400 volumes of materials on this case. We found that 9,354 servicemen of Ukraine’s Armed Forces suffered due to such crimes; 2,055 of those were killed, 7,299 wounded. For the last six months, investigators of the Chief Military Prosecutor’s Office questioned about 4,500 witnesses and those who suffered due to the crimes”, said the official.
