According to Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Dmytro Razumkov, the issue of amending the resolution on local elections is not on the parliament's agenda. Razumkov announced this on the air of on ICTV TV channel, RBC-Ukraine reported.
"This issue is not on the agenda. There are some aspects that affect the position that was indicated that day ... As of now, if we make amendments to the resolution, we will question the entire election process," Razumkov said.
According to him, the issue was not discussed during the meeting of the Servant of the People faction, which took place on Monday, September 28, as well.
As we reported earlier, on September 11, the administration of Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Ukraine's agreement to amend the decree on local elections in the country.
"We agreed that in the near future, the Rada will consider a draft resolution correcting the resolution that was adopted on July 15," Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia, said about the results of the negotiations in Berlin in the "Normandy format" at the level of political advisers.
