The First Deputy of the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vadym Prystaiko took part in the 36th session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of counties-members of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC). The session finished with the ceremony of the passing of the chairmanship of the Organization from Turkey to Ukraine for six months that will begin on July 1. The press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported this.

‘The first deputy of minister emphasized that aggressive policy of Russia becomes the obstruction to effective cooperation of the countries and noted that the Ukrainian Chairmanship will focus on the economic cooperation issues in the terms of the security crisis in region and it will take place under the slogan ‘On the way to peace, stability and prosperity’’, the message reports.

Prystaiko also noted that the implementation of the multipartite regional projects, particularly transport will be the priority of the Ukrainian Chairmanship. Ukraine offers to hold the meeting if the Ministers of Transport and range of events on the expert level.

He also drew the attention to the necessity of the further development of the project oriented estimation of the Organization activity.
