The police stopped their cars at the crossroads of the city center and allow to pass only Kyiv residents who live on the main streets, special equipment and ambulances. Pedestrians move without restrictions.
Participants of the rally "Guards to protect families and children" gathered at Volodymyrska street near the monument to Mykhailo Hrushevsky. The event was organized by the Right Sector, together with other patriotic and Christian organizations. They plan to hold an action until 10 o'clock on June 23 to prevent the Equality March. Its members argue that they advocate traditional family values and their action is peaceful.
On the square there is a car with the writing on it saying "Love against sexualism." There were also installed stands with information on the holding of “Kyiv pride 2018”, during which there were detentions of participants protested against the march.
