From September 1, cars with Transnistrian license plates will not be allowed to cross the Ukrainian border. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

"Vehicles from the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova with different registration numbers will be prohibited from moving across the state border to enter Ukraine or transit through the territory," the press service states.

The press service adds that only those vehicles that have registration plates of an agreed standard and so-called neutral numbers from the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova will be allowed, as well as other vehicles registered in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.

It is noted that the Moldovan side was informed about these changes through the border guard staff.
