The candidate for presidency of Russia Ksenia Sobchak was attacked by a man. She wrote about this on Twitter.
"Just a few minutes ago a man attacked me. He pushed me - I fell, he poured me with something with an exclamation "this is for Zhirinovsky". We called the police," she wrote.
Later, Sobchak reported that the name of the attacker was clarified. It turned out to be Alan Dzutsev.
According to the media, this happened at the exit from the Petrovsky Palace, where an event dedicated to Mikhail Gorbachev's birthday was held. Ksenia Sobchak was attacked by Alan Dzutsev, personal assistant to MP Alexei Shaposhnikov, chairman of the Moscow City Duma, and besides that he was also a member of the Public Scientific and Methodological Advisory Council under the electoral comission of the Russian Federation.
Earlier Sobchak doused Zhirinovsky with water during the debate.
On February 8, the Central Election Commission of Russia officially completed registration of all presidential candidates. Among them are Putin, Zhirinovsky and Sobchak.
The presidential election will be held on March 18, 2018.
