The Canadian government is going to allocate 4.6 million U.S. dollars for holding drills and purchasing equipment for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Christine Freeland, Canadian foreign minister reported that as quoted by the government's press service.
According to the official, Canada will carry on in terms of assisting Ukraine in all possible areas. 'We will continue to put pressure on Russia until it lives up to international law and observes Ukraine's sovereignty', she said.
Freeland specified that the mentioned funds will go to purchasing medical equipment and preparing military drills in Ukraine.
