Canada supports Ukraine faced with Russian aggression, - Harjit Sajjan

Canada has provided the Ukrainian Armed Forces non-lethal military equipment costing over 16 million dollars

Harjit Sajjan, Minister of National Defense of Canada claimed that Canada continues to support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. He claimed this after his visit to Latvia, according to Ukrinform. 

'Canadian support of Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression is unwavering,' the Minister noted.

Harjit Sajjan added that together with the partners are working on the development of safe, successive and democratic Ukraine. He noted that Canada had provided the Ukrainian Armed Forces with non-lethal military equipment costing over 16 million dollars. 

'Our commitment isn't limited only by training soldiers. As part of a comprehensive support of Ukraine, Canada provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine non-lethal military equipment costing over 16 million dollars, and more equipment will be provided by the of March of 2019,' he said.
