Ukraine and Canada negotiate on the possible use of Ukraine's middle-class Antonov aircraft. Stepan Kubiv, Ukraine's First Vice Prime Minister and Jim Carr, Canadian Minister for International Trade Diversification discussed the topic during their meeting as quoted by Ukrinform news agency.

'We talked the issues of investments, which broaden the opportunities of U.S., Canadian and European technologies on the Ukrainian market, taking into account the course of reforms in the areas of social, pension, education and medical policy, including the corruption problem, and the cooperation in the aircraft engineering of Antonov middle-class planes, which may be used on the Canadian market,' Kubiv said. 

The Ukrainian official added that over the past two years, Canadian companies 'invested hundreds of millions of dollars into Ukraine's agrarian and IT area.'
