In Ontario, Canada, authorities allocated $ 750,000 to support the National Education Tour on the Holodomor. This was reported by the deputy of the local parliament Yvan Baker on Twitter.

"I am proud to say that this afternoon the Canada-Ukraine Foundation received a grant of $ 750,000 to raise awareness of the famine in Ukraine in 1932-33," he wrote.

Within the framework of the project, a "mobile audience" was created in the province - a bus, equipped with a special interactive equipment, which will travel to Canada's educational institutions and conduct lectures on the tragic events of 1932-1933 in Ukraine.

We remind you that on April 3, a capsule of the construction of the II stage of the National Museum "Memorial of Victims of the Holodomor" was laid in Kyiv.
