Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has upheld the draft decree of President of Ukraine 'On the approval of the Annual National Program under the aegis of Ukraine-NATO commission in 2019'. The respective decision was made at the Cabinet session. The press office of the authority reported that on Wednesday.
The Vice Prime Minister for Ukraine's European and Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze called the document 'strategic and systematic'.
'Over the past few years, we worked on its structure and content, and we finally made it to a completely new format, based on a logical chain, where we stated our strategic goals and specific tasks for this particular year to reach these goals', she said.
She added that the document would give Ukraine an opportunity to move on the path of integration with the NATO and complete the tasks necessary to provide the effective and adjusted work for preparation of Ukraine's membership in the Alliance.
