The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine passed the draft state budget for the Parliament's consideration in the second reading. The documnent has already been registered on the Parliament's website.
Let's take a quick look at the picture - how it looks currently, anyway:
Revenues
The revenues are estimated on the level of approximately 38.63 billion U.S. dollars. That's 750 million more than in the previous reading.
Budget deficit
The upgraded draft bill offers to cut the budget deficit in 2021 by 0.5 percent GDP.
Expenses
The overall anticipated sum of expenses makes some USD 46 billion. The government plans to spend USD 9.5 billion on defense and security. 6.21 billion is supposed to be spend on education; 5.57 billion will go to cover the needs of the Ukrainian medicine. That includes 696 million to be assigned for combating coronavirus pandemic; 92 million will be allocated for vaccination campaign. The Pension Fund is to get the funding in the amount of USD 7.25 billion.
Minimal salary is to be raised in January (to USD 214) and July 2021 (USD 232).
The average monthly wage is supposed to make 485 dollars.
The minimal pension will make USD 69 (since December 2021).
The GDP is expected at the rate of 160 billion U.S. dollars. The estimated GDP growth rate makes 4.6 percent.
The state debt to the GDP will make 64.6 percent.
The consumer inflation is to make 7.3 percent.
The average exchange rate is supposed to be 29.1 UAH per 1 dollar.
