The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allowed health facilities to conduct a forced examination of people who have symptoms of the coronavirus Covid-19. The corresponding decision is published on the website of the government.
The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the corresponding decision at a meeting on March 25.
"Health care facilities have the right to conduct a mandatory medical examination of people who have had contact with patients with acute respiratory disease Covid-19 caused by the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus (hereinafter - Covid-19), or have symptoms of Covid-19 if they refuse medical surveys on a voluntary basis," the Cabinet of Ministers says.
It is noted that persons who are assigned quarantine (self-isolation) are required to strictly comply with the recommendations of doctors.
As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky once again called on Ukrainians not to violate the quarantine regime.
“We continue to stay at home! Once again, I ask you to grow up! You know, there is a well-known fact that after the Chernobyl accident, higher authorities gathered people for the May Day demonstration. Nobody was afraid then, because “the radiation is invisible.” Coronavirus is also invisible“, the president said.
