The Ukrainian government issued 125 million hryvnas (roughly 4.8 million U.S. dollars) to complete the tasks foreseen in the program of development and reformation of the country’s defense industry.
Previously, having submitted the draft bill of the 2017 state budget, the government foresaw almost 5 billion U.S. dollars for defense expenditures.
The respective document is submitted at the Cabinet’s website.
The money will go for the needs of development and implementation of modern technologies, and growing the current production capacity for more products in this industry.
