It was necessary to restore the flying standby of the fighter aircrafts and provide the future annual flying rate not less than 14500 hours with the fixed price of the flight hour. This competition was held due to the fact that the number of the working MiG aircrafts was at the critical minimum and it did not allow to provide the quality crew conditioning, it threatens the security of the flights and can hinder to fulfill the international commitments on the guard of the NATO air boundaries. The Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG became the winner of the competition.
