The Budapest Memorandum has a potential solution to the conflict in eastern Ukraine. This was stated by Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, UNN reported.

"You cannot focus on the Budapest Memorandum, although, of course, it has some potential," he said.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Kuleba will pay a visit to Germany on June 2, where, in particular, it is planned to discuss the de-occupation of Crimea and the resolution of the Russian-provoked conflict in Donbas.

At the same time, Kuleba noted that Ukraine adhered to the position of a diplomatic solution to the conflict.

"Ukraine is committed to a diplomatic resolution to the conflict and at the same time our armed forces are ready to repel the attack if it is critical," he added.

As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the meeting of the Normandy Four would take place after the Covid-19 pandemic began to fade.

Zelensky added that he had not communicated with Russian President Vladimir Putin for a long time because of the current epidemiological situation in the world.
