The police identified more than 60 participants in the shootout in Brovary, including customers. About this reported the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko on his Facebook page.
"The police today identified more than 60 participants in the shootout, including customers. Some of them are trying to escape. But they will not succeed. We will find everyone and take them to court to determine the measure and degree of guilt of everyone," Gerashchenko wrote.
A shootout took place in the town of Brovary, not far from Kyiv on May 29. The police took in ten armed people. Vitaliya Grokholska, the chief specialist of PR department of the National Police in Kyiv region told this to the press.
"Workers of the local police arrived on site just a minute after that. They detained 10 people with guns. They took them to a local police station. It appeared these were the "guests" from other regions of Ukraine. The site of the incident is now being investigated, other participants are being identified, circumstances and reasons of the incident are sorted out", she said.
The reason for it was the conflict between entrepreneurs engaged in passenger transportation and illegal carriers. As a result of what happened, three participants in the shootout are in the hospital with injuries. One bullet hit the window of an apartment building. Policelater detained more than 20 people.
