May made clear Britain wants to continue sanctions until Putin carries out the requirements in a ceasefire agreement arranged in Minsk, Belarus in 2014

Britain will insist in the European Union on maintaining sanctions against Russia until Minsk agreement is implemented. This was reported by British Prime Minister Theresa May, according to Reuters.

"We believe the sanctions should continue until we see the Minsk agreement fully implemented. And we’ve been continuing to argue that inside the European Union," May said.

As it was reported earlier, Theresa May, Britain’s Prime Minister warned the US to “beware” of Vladimir Putin in her speech.
