Presidential Administration head of Ukraine Ihor Rainin noted the support of Ukrainian Army by Great Britain and expressed hope for deepening cooperation.

British position to support Ukraine will remain unchanged, British Ambassador to Ukraine Judith Gough assured during her meeting with Ihor Rainin. This was reported by the Presidential Administration.

Rainin thanked Britain for their position to support Ukraine’s integrity and sovereignty and in particular for keeping sanctions against Russia. “The conviction was voiced that sanctions against Russia must be kept until Ukraine’s integrity and sovereignty is fully restored, including the return of Crimea,” the Presidential Administration said.

“The parties also talked over the question of bilateral cooperation, primarily on the intensification of trading and economic cooperation, as well as a schedule of contacts at the highest level, “the statement said.

Earlier it was reported that Great Britain extended Ukrainian military training program for one year
British military instructors will remain in Ukraine until 2018.
