The Royal Navy has sent a frigate into the English Channel to escort Russian warships through the Strait of Dover, as Dailymail informs.

A British HMS Westminster is escorting the Russian ships that came close to the British shore.

Lately, the militarism of the Kremlin is growing and this is not the first case when Britain is sending its vessels to escort and monitor Russian military ships.

On Dec. 25, Britain sent two frigates to accompany Russian military vessels that came close to the British waters in the English Channel and the North Sea. A helicopter was also dispatched to monitor two further vessels.
