British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson has arrived in Kyiv on march 1. This is reported on his page on Twitter.
Mr Johnson has already met with Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko and the police officers.
“Had heavyweight talks with Mayor Vitaliy Klychko. Met Kyiv police receiving UK training and veterans who've fought for integrity of Ukraine borders”, he wrote on Twitter.
UK Foreign Minister also visited Pizza Veterano - a restaurant founded by the veterans of the anti-terrorist operation. He met with Leonid Ostaltsev, the owner of the place.
"Today I met with British FM Boris Johnson. He is an interesting chap. Johnson arrived with Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko. We spoke for about 40 minutes about the war. And do you know what? He knows practically nothing about what's going on (or gave that impression). It's very nice that the UK side insisted on the meeting", Ostaltsev wrote on Facebook.
Boris Johnson also praised the work of the JCB Machines in Ukraine and expressed his desire to grow stronger trade ties with Ukraine.
