David Davis, the newly appointed Secretary of State for Exiting the EU, announced the possible date of the UK’s exit, Bloomberg reported. According to him, the Great Britain might start negotiations with the EU on the matter in late 2016, and the official exit might take place in late 2018.
David Davis is a well-known Eurosceptic. In 2005, he lost the race to David Cameron as they struggled for the office of the leader of Conservative party. On July 13, 2016, he was appointed Secretary of State for Exiting the EU as Theresa May unofficially headed the Cabinet.
