Blinken on Russia: to be consequences to new aggression in Ukraine

Because of the escalation along the Ukrainian border, where Russia has recently transferred troops, Anthony Blinken warned that his country will react if Russia acts aggressively against Ukraine. Blinken stated this in an interview with on NBC on Sunday, April 11.

"President Biden has been very clear about this. If Russia acts recklessly or aggressively, there will be consequences," Blinken said.

He added that the Biden-Harris Administration is really concerned about Russia`s actions on the borders of Ukraine. Russian troops are now concentrated along Ukraine's eastern border than ever since 2014. That is why Washington is in very close contact and close coordination with European allies and partners, all of whom share these concerns.

As it was reported earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held telephonic talks with UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab and discussed the situation in Ukraine and expressed support for Kyiv.
