A powerful explosion thundered in the Afghani capital, Reuters reported with a reference to witnesses. As of 8 a.m. Kyiv time, there were no updates on casualties, except for Daily Sabah reporting four killed and at least 22 wounded.
‘The blast hit the NATO coalition convoy during the morning rush hour in one of the busiest areas of Kabul. Public health officials in the capital said four people were killed and at least 22 wounded. There was no immediate word on whether any foreign troops had been hurt in the attack, which hit a group of armored personnel carriers designed to withstand large blasts,’ Reuters wrote.
There is currently no information whether the deceased were the military or civilians.
A correspondent of TOLO News reported that the explosive device was activated by a suicide bomber.
