Russia is the biggest threat to the world order. US Vice President Joe Biden stated this in his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, TASS reports.

Addressing the participants of the forum, he accused Russia of trying to destroy the European Union.

"Under President Putin, Russia is using all its capabilities in order to nullify the European project, to test the Western frontier strength and return to the policy of spheres of influence. In the context of the forthcoming year there will be elections in many European countries, and we should expect new attempts from Russia to interfere in the democratic process. I assure you that this will happen again, and the goal is clear: to destroy the liberal international order", said Biden.

Also during his speech, Biden said that denial to recognize the spheres of influence should stay as the US position.
