The potential meeting of U.S. President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin will most likely take place in Geneva as NBC News journalist Geoff Bennett reported on Twitter.

“Geneva, Switzerland is the most likely venue for a potential meeting between Biden and Putin,” Bennett wrote and added that this information was confirmed by four sources at the White House.

Besides, Swiss TagesAnzeiger reported that the leaders of the countries “will definitely hold the meeting in Switzerland”. Most likely, it will take place during the next two weeks.

According to the sources, United States Air Force mission has already landed in Geneva for preparation for the presidential meeting.

Earlier, U.S. President Joe Biden confirmed that he expects to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the near future. The place of the summit was unknown.

Besides, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky also commented on the meeting of Biden and Putin.
