The presidents of the United States of America and the Russian Federation, Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin, may hold an online conversation in the near future, during which they will discuss Ukraine among other topics, Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced, RIA Novosti reports.
According to him, there are no clear terms of the presidents' conversation yet. It may take place by the end of this year.
"Is [contact] possible until the new year? Yes, it is possible. But maybe later. It will depend on how the presidents' schedules come together and what format they will choose," Peskov said.
At the same time, the spokesman added that the leaders will raise a number of issues, including Ukraine and NATO.
As it was reported in October, the meeting of Presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden this year in one format or another is quite real, Press secretary of the head of the Russian state Dmitry Peskov stated.
