U.S. President Joe Biden has canceled the decision of his predecessor Donald Trump on the suspension of entry for some categories of immigrants as the White House reported.

“The suspension does not advance the interests of the United States. To the contrary, it harms the United States,” the order reports.

It is noted that Trump’s order did not allow certain family members of United States citizens and lawful permanent residents from joining their families. Besides, he argued the decision by the fact that the suspension “harms industries in the United States that utilize talent from around the world”.

In April 2020, then U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the immigrant flow to the U.S. would be stopped for at least 60 days. The decision was made to protect American workers who lost job due to the crisis caused by coronavirus pandemic. The order was extended numerously.
