Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Dmytro Razumkov said that the law on the referendum is being carefully worked on. He said this on Friday, in an interview on the "Ukraine 24" TV channel.
“I can’t say that there is a turbo mode. Here, on the contrary, accurate work is going on,” Razumkov said.
The speaker clarifies that his colleagues understand the risks associated with such legislative initiatives. Therefore, the bill is “being finalized so that we get a good law that works for the benefit of Ukraine and its inhabitants", he said.
As we reported, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the bill #2653 as the basis. It will allow the Cabinet of Ministers to establish the territories and administrative centers of the territorial communities. 288 MPs supported the decision.
The bill amends the law of Ukraine “On local self-governance of Ukraine”.
